As a doctor and worker and always with a passion for ensuring the mental and physical health of the patient, I realized some time ago that the classical medical surgical methodology and the modern answers of gynecology are not always matched.

The creation of LVRI Athens is not just an innovation in modern female vaginal surgery, nor even a clever idea to satisfy some special needs of a limited number of women. It was created in response to the constant and persistent quest of everyday people like all of us , to expand the horizons of their sexuality and overcome the barriers of fruitless neoconservatism in human relations.

Sex and pleasure through our bodies is no longer a taboo or an exaggeration these days, but a necessary and burning demand that must by all means reach the ears of the treating physicians, if they can sense and listen to it , that is.

My patients “forced” me to do LVR, and vulgar plasty so that I could “cure” them.

It is of course known -and if not it should be explained -that the female reproductive system is the subject of many medical specialties such as gynecologists,plastic surgeons, dermatologists and urologists, but no one has so far combined the medical data and knowledge of the individual specialties in such a way as to cover the real need of women-patients as well as their partners, which of course would be a most complete and healthy sexual intercourse.
